Sure, you sit and wait for the day when the "man of your dreams" comes to swoop you off of your feet and carry you into a life of happiness. Let me tell you somethin' hun. There ain't no such thing as a prince charming. There are men you look at you like a toy, something to pass the time... and to have "fun" with. Then they treat you like garbage. Go cry to daddy who'll tell you that it'll be better, that it'll be forgotten over time. It's another page in your life; written in sharpie. It will always be there. You need to move on. It'll make you stronger while also granting you with a dubious amount of trust issues... Ha, I made a pun. The point is, there is no "man of your dreams", no perfect guy that will clean up life for you. Rely on yourself, seek insignificant things from others, but nothing as big as trust. Save that for the man in your dreams.
